Real words from our clients
  • I spotted the boat I wanted, and was in a rush to make it mine. Paul brought me back to reality and took the emotion out of the process allowing me to be more relaxed and confident about the process. The boat surveyed well but we were able to negotiate well based on the weathered and tired original fitting and equipment. The savings have allowed me to bring her up to an 'as new' condition at a fraction of a new boat price.
  • I owned one of Stanyon Marine's Seacrest Powercat designs for a year or so, and used her around Noumea cruising into remote areas on the eastern side of the island. We just needed a little more room in the cockpit and I was considering designing and building a new larger power cat. Paul suggested that we could modify 'Nemo' and get the additional space I was looking for. His design drawings and technical support improved the performance which was already very good and gave us the space we wanted without the 18 months and considerable expense it would have taken for a new custom power cat.
  • It was a close one, I was about to hand over the balance owing on a half cabin that had been moored in the water. Paul spotted that the transom was wet and that the plywood core would be either rotten then or soon would be - inheriting that would have been a disaster. Paul got quotes to fix it that week, but the vendor would not meet these costs, so we moved on. Found an even better boat a week later.
